Erin (she/her) began her career in 2006 as a high school English teacher. Here she developed a love of teaching and helping students to explore the mysteries of life, tell their stories, listen more deeply, speak their truth, practice compassion, and develop a sense of purpose and self-worth.
At the same time, she was silently struggling with a debilitating eating disorder and other addictive behaviors when she stumbled upon the practice of yoga therapy.
In addition to traditional psychotherapy, Erin experienced profound healing through the yogic path and became determined to marry her love of education, serving others, and her passion for yoga.
She received her 200 YTT in 2012 from Yama Yoga Studio, left her day job, and opened, All Souls Yoga, an inclusive yoga community focused on accessible yoga for all.
She began studying with Inner Peace Yoga Therapy in 2016, received her 500 YTT in 2018, and has been teaching and learning ever since.
Erin aims to create a more authentic and compassionate world through the practices of yoga therapy and teaches these skills to people of all shapes, ages, spiritualities, and backgrounds.
Some of her favorite teaching environments include Acres of Hope Women's Shelter, Small Stones Cancer Center, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Gema de Dios (a retreat for Hispanic Women in Milwaukee), a variety of secondary schools, churches, and in the villages of Northern Uganda.
She is honored to share all that she has received from her incredible teachers with others who long to access the sacred nature of life and live a full, authentic, and embodied life aligned with who they are and what they value.
Erin is a mother of two girls, a wife, sister, daughter, friend, writer, teacher, speaker and human. She is the founder of All Souls Yoga and the steward of All Souls Sanctuary.
